1. HIMACHAL LAUNCHED INDIA’S FIRST E-VIDHAAN MOBILE APP:
A.   Himachal Pradesh Government launched India’s First E-Vidhaan Mobile app.
B.   Himachal Pradesh chief Minister Virbhadra Singh launched the first part of e-vidhaan Mobile app.
C. With this initiative , Himachal Pradesh Government is expecting to save about 8 crore rupees per annum that were spent on the paper.

2.   CHINA INKED 5 AGREEMENTS WITH SRI LANKA:
A.   China and Sri Lanka inked 5 agreements during the visit of Maithripala Sirisena to China.
B.   For the first time Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena visited China and signed 5 agreements in Beijing to Strengthen ties between two nations.
KEY POINTS:
a.       Sri Lanka accepted China’s invitation to become a founding-member of Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB)
b.      China agreed to provide training opportunity to 2000 young scientists from Sri Lanka
c.       China agreed to set up Chinese language training centres in Sri Lanka to deepen cultural partnership between both the nations.

3. FINANCE MINISTRY APPROVED 1500 CRORE RUPEES FOR A.P. CAPITAL CONSTRUCTION:
A.   Union Ministry of finance has allocated 1500 crore rupees to Andhra Pradesh for constructing its New Capital
B.   The A.P Reorganization Act, 2014 mandates Hyderabad as a common capital for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for a period of 10 years.
C.   New proposed capital of Andhra Pradesh is to be constructed near Vijaywada Region on the bank of Krishna river and is named as Amaravathi.
4. VICE ADMIRAL SUNIL LANBA BECOMES COMMANDING IN CHIEF OF SOUTHERN NAVAL COMMAND:
A. Vice Admiral Sunil Lanba took over charge as the flag officer commanding in chief of Southern Naval Command.

1. FORTUNE RELEASED THE LIST OF WORLDS’S 50 GREATEST LEADERS:
A.   Fortune magazine has released the list of 2015 roster of the world’s 50 greatest leaders.
B.   Apple CEO Tim Cook topped the list and European Central bank president Mario Draghi followed him at Second Place, who was further followed by Chinese President Xi Jingping at third place.
C.   Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was placed at 5th spot and Nobel Prize winner Kailash Styarthi at the 28th rank.
 NOTE: - US President Barack Obama is not included in the list for a second year in a row.

2. WORLD’S FIRST OTAKU EXPO HELD IN JAPAN:
A.   Japan organized World’s first Otaku Expo at Makuhari Messe Convention Centre in Chiba Prefecture.
B.   The expo was organized as a part of a special comic book fair held every five year.
C.   The event attracts about half a million visitors and groups from outside Japan were also invited.
NOTE: Otaku is the term commonly used in the country to refer to people obsessed with Janan’s Unique take on comics and animation.

3. BHARAT RATNA FOR MADAN MOHAN MALVIYA:
A.   Madan Mohan Malviya  is honoured with the highest civilian award, Bharat Ratna.
B.   Family members of Freedom Fighter and educationalist , Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya received the award from President Pranab Mukherjee at a function in the Ashoka Hall of the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
C.   Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya was the founder of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and Hindu Mahasabha.
4. KATSUSHI INOUE BECOMES CEO OF HONDA CARS INDIA:

A. Indian Space Research Organization bagged Gandhi Peace Prize 2014.
ISRO’s launch of Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) at a very cost effective price of Rs. 450 crore, made India the first Asian country to enter the Martian sphere of influence.
B. Gandhi Peace Prize was instituted in the year 1955 on the occasion of 125th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and is awarded for social, economic and political transformation through non-violence.
