1.  INDIA SINGED MOU WITH USA:
i.   India and USA signed MoU on Cooperation to establish PACESetter Fund.
ii.  The agreement was signed by Upendra Tripathy, Secretary , Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and Richard Verma, United States Ambassador to India.
iii.  PACESetter fund is established with a corpus of about 500 crore rupees with both the countries contributing equally.

2.  7TH BRICS SUMMIT:
i.   7th BRICS Summit held in Ufa, Russia.
ii. 7th BRICS Summit held with the theme , ‘ BRICS Partnership- a powerful factor of Global development’.
iii. 6th BRICS summit was held in Fortaleza in Brazil in 2014 and next, 8th Summit will be held in      New Delhi.

ii.    Ashok Kumar Lahiri is appointed as the Chairman of the Bandhan Bank.
iii. Founder of Bandhan financial Services Ltd, Chandra Shekhar Ghosh is appointed as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank.

iii. The Gardens will be open for the public in January.
