1.  INDIA AND TAJIKISTAN SIGNED 2 AGREEMENTS:
i.   India and Tajikistan inked two agreements to strengthen bilateral relations.
ii.  The agreements are signed to further strengthen defence cooperation and in the field of culture.
iii.  India has agreed to set up computer labs in 31 schools in Tajikistan for supporting human resource and skill development efforts

2.  INIDA-KYRGYZSTAN INKED 4 AGREEMENTS:

(ii)  Agreement on Cooperation in culture
(iii)Agreement on cooperation in the sphere of standards
(iv)Agreement on cooperation in the field of elections

3.  GAGAN SYSTEM LAUNCHED BY UNION CIVIL AVIATION MINISTRY:
i.    Union Minister of Civil Aviation, ‘P Ashok Gajapathi Raju’ launched the GAGAN system in New Delhi.
ii.  GAGAN- GPS Aided GEO Augmented Navigation.
iii.  GAGAN is India’s first SBAS system and with this India became the fourth Nation after the US, Europe and Japan.
iv.  SBAS- Satellite Based Augmentation System.

4.  WOMEN’S DOUBLE TITLE IN WIMBLEDON:
i.   Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis won Women’s Double title in Wimbledon.
ii.  Indo-Swiss pair defeated Russian duo of Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina in the final match
Note: This is Sania Mirza’s first ever women’s double Grand Slam title.

1.  INDIA SINGED MOU WITH USA:
i.   India and USA signed MoU on Cooperation to establish PACESetter Fund.
ii.  The agreement was signed by Upendra Tripathy, Secretary , Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and Richard Verma, United States Ambassador to India.
iii.  PACESetter fund is established with a corpus of about 500 crore rupees with both the countries contributing equally.

2.  7TH BRICS SUMMIT:
i.   7th BRICS Summit held in Ufa, Russia.
ii. 7th BRICS Summit held with the theme , ‘ BRICS Partnership- a powerful factor of Global development’.
iii. 6th BRICS summit was held in Fortaleza in Brazil in 2014 and next, 8th Summit will be held in      New Delhi.

i.    Kolkata based Bandhan Bank appointed its Chairman and Boards of Director
ii.    Ashok Kumar Lahiri is appointed as the Chairman of the Bandhan Bank.
iii. Founder of Bandhan financial Services Ltd, Chandra Shekhar Ghosh is appointed as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank.

i.   The United Nations has released Millennium Development Goals (MDG) Report 2015
ii. This report is an annual assessment of Global and Regional Progress towards the 8 MDGs.

i.   Four World Class Broadband products developed by C-DOT launched under Digital India.
ii.  Union Minister for Communication and IT, Ravi Shankar Prasad launched the products in New Delhi.

2.  NAKSHATRA VATIKA INAUGURATED:
i.   President Pranab Mukherjee inaugurated Nakshtra Vatika at Rashtrapati Nilayam Gardens.
ii.  The Nakshatra Vatika will be the second specialized Gardens within the complex of Nilayam Garden, which already has Herbal Garden in it.
iii. The Gardens will be open for the public in January.

3.  MEKONG-JAPAN SUMMIT:
i.    7th Mekong-Japan summit held in Tokyo.
ii.  Japan committed $ 6 billion to Mekong region countries.
iii.  Mekong region countries include Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.
