1. HOMEO VISION 2016 INAUGURATED AT NAGPUR

i. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has launched Non-Tax Receipt Portal to electronically collect over Rs.2 trillion annually in non-tax receipts.
ii. It was launched as part of Union Government’s flagship Digital India campaign.
iii. Presently non-tax revenues are collected by physical instruments such as bank draft or cheque or cash.
iv. It provides a platform to citizens to make online payment of non-tax receipts to the Union government.

5. INDIA'S 1ST LIGHTEST GUN "NIDAR" LAUNCHED
i. India’s first indigenously developed lightest revolver Nidar weighing merely 250 grams was successfully launched.
ii. The gun is launched to boost the "Make In India" initiative.
iii. The Nidar is lightest revolver ever made in India with cheapest price tag of Rs 35,000 only.

6. PNB DECLARED UB HOLDINGS LIMITED WILFUL DEFAULTER
i. Vijay Mallya company United Breweries Holdings Ltd has been declared a wilful defaulter by Punjab National Bank.
ii. Earlier State Bank of India had declared United Breweries and Mallya as wilful defaulters.
iii. The willful defaulter tag is given when the person is not paying the loan even after having sufficient source

7. WORLD'S CHEAPEST SMARTPHONE IS GOING TO BE LAUNCH IN INDIA
i. Noida based  company Ringing Bells is going to launch the world's cheapest 3G smartphone at just Rs 251 in India.
ii. India has become the second largest market for selling cell phones after china.
iii. Defence Minister Manohar Parrikkar will launch the smartphone ‘Freedom 251’ on February 17.
