1.  ‘SAFF’ UNDER-16 TITLE WON BY BANGLADESH
i.  South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Under-16 title is won by Bangladesh after defeating India at Sylhet District Stadium of Bangladesh.
ii.  Bangladesh defeated India by 4-2 in Penalties.

2. BOMBAY STOCK EXCHANGE SETS UP NEW SYSTEM FOR CHECKING MONEY LAUNDERING
i.   Bombay Stock Exchange(BSE) sets up a new system for checking money laundering through Stock Exchanges.
ii.  ‘Suspicious Transactions Reports’(STRs) is started by BSE.
iii.  BSE has told its members to provide an monthly STRs to Financial Intelligence unit of Government on suspicious trades to check money laundering.

3.  S P MISHRA, TPP NAIR AND ROMEO JAMES NAMES RECOMMENDED FOR 2015 DHYAN CHAND AWARD
i.  SP Mishra, TPP Nair and Romeo James names recommended for 2015 Dhyan Chand Award
ii.  The Selection committee was headed by former Indian Hockey captain Zafar Iqbal.

Dhyan Chand Award is named after famous Indian Hockey Player Dhyan Chand. It is India’s highest Award for lifetime achievement in sports.

4. ‘BUDDY’ A NEW APP LAUNCHED BY SBI
i.  State Bank of India launched a mobile wallet application ‘SBI Buddy’
ii.  This app will provide convenient and secure digital payment system.
iii.  It is available in 13 languages.
iv.  It is launched by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley
SBI Chairman : Arundhati Bhattacharya.

5.  GOVERNMENT LAUNCHED TWO FUNDS FOR MSMEs AND STARTUPS
i.  Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has launched two funds India Aspiration Fund (IAF) and SIDBI make in India Loan for enterprises (SMILE)
ii.  IAF will invest in venture capital funds for Micro Small and medium enterprises to meet its equity requirement.
     Initial carpus –Rs 2000 cr.
iv.  SMILE is a debt fund which will provide soft term loan to MSME to meet its debt equity requirement
     Initial Corpus- Rs 10000 cr
     FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE UNIT (FIU) FIU is an central agency for Receiving analyzing and processing financial transactions. And providing information related to suspect transaction to intelligence agencies.

6.  TAJMAHAL WORLD’S FIFTH ATTRACTIVE TRAVEL HOTSPOT
i.  India’s Taj Mahal has Grabbed fifth rank in the list of most attractive travel hotspot in world.
ii.  The first rank was grabbed by Cambodia’s ‘The Temple of Angkar’.

2. GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCED RAJIV GANDHI KHEL RATNA AND ARJUNA AWARD 2015  LIST
i.   The Government announced the awardees list of Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna and Arjuna Award for 2015.
ii.  The selection committee was headed by Justice V K Bali, former Chief Justice of Kerala High Court.

i.  Ajit Kumar Seth is appointed as new chairman of Public Enterprises Selection  Board.
ii.  The appointment is made for next 3 years term.
iii.  Ajit Kumar Seth has replaced Atul Chaturvedi.
i) Public Enterprises Selection Board makes policies for the managing of Central Public Sector Enterprises and to advise government on top managerial post appointments.
ii) Public enterprises Selection Board is formed in 1987.

5.  ANDY MURRAY WON ROGERS CUP 2015
i.  Andy Murray won Rogers Cup Masters tournament 2015 in Montrial, Canada.
ii.  Andy Murray defeated Tennis World Number One Player Novak Djokovic.

6.  RUSSIA TO BACK INDIA FOR A PERMANENT SEAT IN UNSC
i.  Russia clarified that it is going to support India for a permanent seat in United Nations Security Council (UNSC)
ii.  Earlier United States clarified its support in the Favour of India.

United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is one of the six principal organs of United Nations. The main objective of UNSC is to maintain International Peace and Security. India wants a permanent seat in UNSC
