1. CENTRE APPROVES A PROPOSAL FOR GREENFIELD ELECTRONIC PARK IN ODISHA
i. The department of electronics and information technology  government of India has given its final approval for setting up of a greenfield electronic park in Bhubaneswar.
ii. The money will be spent on creating a common infrastructure for about 100 units to be housed within the park.
iii. The park will provide common facilities for training, incubation and R & D activities to the interested entrepreneurs.

2. BCCI SUSPENDS GOA CRICKET ASSOCIATION OFFICIALS FOR MISAPPROPRIATION OF ORGANIZATION FUNDS
i. The BCCI has  suspended and issued show-cause notices to the top Goa Cricket Association officials for alleged misappropriation of organization funds.
ii. GCA president Chetan Desai and secretary Vinod Phadke, were arrested for alleged misappropriation of Rs 3.13 crorefunds.

3.  ISRO LAUNCHES RECORD 20 SATELLITES IN A MISSION
i. The Indian Space Research Organisation has launched a record 20 satellites in a single mission from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
ii. The launch has been made by using Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle C-34, carrying India’s latest earth observation satellite Cartosat-2 .
iii. ISRO has beaten its previous record of placing 10 satellites into orbit in a single mission in 2008.
iv. Russia holds the world record for placing the most number of satellites in a single launch.

4. SCO SUMMIT TO BEGIN TOMORROW IN TASHKENT
i. A two-day meeting of heads of state of Shanghai Cooperation Organization under the presidency of Uzbekistan will begin tomorrow in Tashkent.
ii. The organization was founded in 1996 after the inclusion of Uzbekistan in 2001 and headquartered in Beijing, China.
iii. The issue will discuss the meeting on strengthening stability and security in Central Asia.
iii. During the summit, India and Pakistan will sign a memorandum of obligation for obtaining SCO member states status.

5. AADHAAR TO BE LINKED WITH CASTE, DOMICILE CERTIFICATES
i. The Centre has asked all the states to link Aadhaar card of school students to their caste and domicile certificate.
ii. The government has reportedly taken the decision following complaints stating that SC-ST students were facing delays in getting their scholarship.

6. JAITLEY RELEASES SILVER COIN TO MARK MARTYRDOM DAY OF BANDA SINGH BAHADUR                                                                                            
i. Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has released a commemorative silver coin to mark the 300th martyrdom day of Sikh General Banda Singh Bahadur.
ii. Banda Singh, who was born in 1670 in Rajouri, was given the title of Bahadur by 10th Sikh Guru Guru Gobind Singh.
iii. He was appointed by Guru Gobind Singh as his deputy and military lieutenant.
iv. Banda Singh Bahadur assembled a fighting force and led the struggle against the Mughal Empire.

7.  MORI VILLAGE IN ANDHRA PRADESH CHOSEN FOR DEVELOPMENT AS SMART VILLAGE
i. Mori village in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh will be developed as a smart village .
ii. It will be smart village of global standards by using digital tools, real-time information, and uninterrupted internet connectivity.
ii. Under the project, the village will be equipped with fiber optic connectivity.

1. SRI LANKAN PRESIDENT AND PM NARENDRA MODI   INAUGURATE DURAIAPPAH STADIUM IN JAFFNA
i. PM Narendra Modi  with Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena have inaugurated Duraiappah Stadium in Jaffna.
ii. The renovation work of the stadium is funded by India.
iii. The newly renovated Duraiappah Stadium has been named in rememberance of a former Mayor of Jaffna late Alfred Thambirajah Duraiappah.

2. UNION MINISTRY OF AYUSH RELEASES YOG GEET FOR 2016 INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY
i. The Union Ministry of AYUSH Ministry has released a Yog Geet known as Yoga song for celebrating the second International Yoga Day on 21st  June 2016.
ii. The Yoga song was selected from the 1,000 entries were received through a national-level competition organised by the AYUSH Ministry.
iii. It is the three-minute-15-seconds song in Hindi.

i. The Union Government banned use of potassium bromate as a food additive on recommendation of Food Safety and Standards Authority of India .

iii. According to the most commonly available brands of pre-packaged breads, pav and buns, tested positive for potassium bromate and potassium iodate.

i. The State Bank of India named in the Hall of Shame list of 158 banking institutions that have invested billions of dollars in companies making cluster bombs.
ii. State Bank of India  is the only Indian bank on the list that includes global giants like JP Morgan, Barclays, Bank of America and Credit Suisse.
iii. The report looks at investments into companies involved in the production of cluster munitions.
iv. Cluster munition is a form of air-dropped or ground-launched explosive weapon that releases or ejects smaller submunitions.
