1.  RESERVE BANK OF INDIA TO ISSUE 10 RUPEES COINS TO COMMEMORATE ‘INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA’
i.   RBI decided to put into circulation 10 Rupees coin to commemorate the international Day of  Yoga .
ii.  The coin have been minted by the Government of India.
iii.  The coin bears the logo of International Day of Yoga
The coins are minted under the coinage act 2011. Coins are minted at the four India government mints at Mumbai, Alipore (Kolkata) Saijabad (Hyderabad) a, Cherlapally (Hyderabad) and Noida (UP)
The coin bears :
ü  logo of "International Day of Yoga", with inscription "सामंजस्य एवं शान्ति के लिए योग" in Devnagri Script and "YOGA FOR HARMONY AND PEACE" around the logo.
ü  The date "21 JUNE" is written at the bottom of the logo.
ü  The inscription "अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस" in Devnagri script

2. KALYANI GROUP PARTNERS WITH ISRAEL’S RAFAEL TO MAKE SPIKE MISSILE
i.   India’s Kalyani group and Israel’s Rafael have partnered to produce spike anti tank guided missile in India.
The FDI proposal in this regard was cleared by defense acquisition council which was chaired by  defense minister worth 3200 crore rupees

3.  CYCLONE KOMEN FORMED OVER BAY OF BENGAL
i.  Cyclone Komen formed after the depression over the northern Bay of Bengal turned into cyclone storm.
ii.  Indian meteorological department forecasted heavy to very heavy rains with isolated extremely heavy rains in Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha.

4.  E-TOURIST VISA SCHEME EXTENDED TO CHINA, HONG KONG AND MACAU
i.    E-Tourist visa scheme was extended to China ,Hong Kong and Macau.
ii.  Now total number of countries covered under E-tourist visa scheme increased to 77 from 74.
E-tourist visa scheme launched by government of India.Under this Scheme tourist with E-visa can arrive at 9 designated airports namely Bengaluru, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Trivandrum.

5. GOVERNMENT TO SET UP NATIONAL INVESTMENT AND INFRASTRUCTURE FUND (NIIF) 
i. Union Cabinet approved setting up of National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) to Support new and stressed projects so that it may help to restart the investment cycle.
ii.  The fund will have an initial corpus of 20000 crore rupees.
NIIF is proposed to be set up as a Trust which would raise debt to invest in the equity of infrastructure finance companies such as Indian Rail Finance Corporation (IRFC) and National Housing Bank (NHB).
The fund was proposed by the Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in his Budget 2015-16.

1.  MILLENNIUM DEVELOPMENT GOALS REPORT 2015:
i.   The United Nations has released Millennium Development Goals (MDG) Report 2015
ii. This report is an annual assessment of Global and Regional Progress towards the 8 MDGs.
iii. These 8 Millennium Development Goals are produced by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA).

2.  INDIA INKED 3 AGREEMENTS WITH UZBEKISTAN:
i.   India and Uzbekistan Inked 3 Agreements to enhance bilateral cooperation.
ii.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on a two day visit to Uzbekistan.

3.  INDIA KAZAKHSTAN SIGNED FIVE AGREEMENTS:

4.  GENNADY DADALKA ENTERED GUINESS WORLD RECORDS:
i.  Russian Cosmonaut Gennady Padalka entered Guinness World Records.
ii.  Gennady Padalka entered Guinness World Records for spending 804 days on the ISS.

5.  HDFC BANK LAUNCHED WATCH BANKING APLICATION:
i.  Country’s second largest private Bank, HDFC Bank launched Watch Banking Application for Apple Watch.
ii.  It is an upgraded version of HDFC Banks mobile banking app.

1.  WORLD INVESTMENT REPORT 2015:
i.   UNCTAD released World Investment Report 2015.
ii.  The report was titled as, ‘Reforming International Investment Governance’.
iii.  UNCTAD- United Nations Conference on Trade and Development.

2.  FIRST UNIT OF BENGAIGAON THERMAL POWER PROJECT COMMISSIONED:
i.   BHEL commissioned first 250 MW unit of NTPC’s Bongaigaon Thermal Power Project of NTPC in Assam.
ii.  BHEL is executing the NTPC’s project for setting up three units of 250 MW each as coal- based project which will be completed by 2016.
iii.  BHEL- Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited.
iv.  NTPC- National Thermal Power Corporation.    

3.  INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING:
i. International Day Against Drug abuse and illicit trafficking was observed globally on 26th June 2015.
ii.  The theme for the day was, “Let’s Develop our lives, Our Communities, our identities without drugs”.

4.  SACHIN TENDULKAR NAMED AS GREATEST TEST PLAYER OF 21ST CENTURY:
i.  Former Indian Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is voted as the best Test player of 21st century in an online poll.
ii.  Sachin Tendulkar got 23% votes and was followed by Srilanka’s Kumar Sangakara (14% votes) and Australia’s Adam Gilchrist (13% votes).

5. ANSHULA KANT BECOMES CFO AND DEPUTY MANAGING DIRECTOR OF SBI:
i.  Anshula Kant is appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Managing Director of State Bank of India.
ii.  Anshula Kant succeeded P.K.Gupta, who is promoted as Chief Executive Officer of SBI capital.

6. RBI RELEASED FSR 2015:
i.  RBI has released Financial Stability Report June 2015.
ii. This is the Eleventh issue of its half yearly publication.

7.  DEADLINE FOR EXCHANGING PRE-2015 CURRENCY NOTES EXTENDED BY 6 MONTHS:
i.  RBI has extended the deadline for exchanging pre-2005 currency notes by 6-months i.e. till 31st December 2015.
ii.  Earlier on 23rd December 2014, it extended the deadline for echanging pre-2005 notes of various denominations by another six months till 30th June 2015 for previous 31st December 2015.
Note: Past-2005 notes have added security features and will help in curbing the menace of fake currency.

1.  INDIA AT 61ST POSITION IN TERMS OF FOREIGNER’S MONEY IN SWISS BANKS:
i.   India is placed at 61st position in terms of foreigners money in Swiss Banks.
ii.  India’s money in Swiss Banks declined by over 10% to about 1.8 billion Swiss Francs in 2014.
iii.  United Kingdom (UK) and the United States (US) holds the largest shares of the foreign clients money with Swiss Banks.

2.  SANGITHA SALANIDHI AWARD 2015:
i.   Sanjay Subrahmanyam is selected for sangitha Kalanidhi Award for the year 2015.
ii.  Sanjay Subrahmanyam is a renowned Carnatic vocalist.
iii.  Sangitha Kalonidhi Award belong to Madras Music Academy.

3.  FIRST INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY OBSERVED GLOBALLY:
i.  First Ever International Yoga Day was observed on 21st June 2015 around the globe.
ii.  Earlier National Yoga Day was celebrated in India on 3rd June 2015.
iii.  Around 36000 participants performed asanas and 84 Nationalities joined the official observation at Rajpath in New Delhi.

4.  NONGFU SPRING WORLD CUP OF SNOOKER 2015:
i.  China won Nongfu spring World Cup of Snooker2015.
ii.  China defeated Scotland to win the cup.

5. ANDY MURRAY WON MEN’S SINGLE OF AEGON CHAMPIONSHIP:
i.  Andy Murray of Britain won Men’s single of Aegon Tennis Championship at the Queen’s Club.
ii.  Andy Murray defeated South African Kevin Anderson in the final clash.

6.  FIFA U-20 WORLD CUP 2015:
i.  Serbia won the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2015.
ii.  Serbia defeated Brazil in the final Match.
iii.  U-20 FIFA World Cup, 2015 held at New Zealand.

7.  ROGER FEDERER WON GERRY WEBER TITLE:
i.  Swiss Tennis player Roger Federer won Gerry Weber open tennis title for 8th time.

ii.  Roger Federer defeated Italy’s Andreas Seppi in the final clash.

1.  NUMBER OF WORK DAYS INCREASED UNDER MGNREGA:
i.  Union Government has decided to increase the number of work days under MGNREGA in drought hit areas.
ii.  Union government has decided to increase it from 100 days to 150 days.
iii.  MGNREGA- Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act.

2.  INCLUSION OF UTTARAKHAND, JHARKHAND AND CHATTISGARH IN NATIONAL DAIRY PLAN-I:
i.   CCEA has approved the inclusion of Uttarakhand, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh in National Dairy Plan-I.
ii.  NDP-I is being implemented in 15 states which accounts for more than 90% of the country’s milk production.

3.  INDIA’S TRADE DEFICIT NARROWED TO 10.4 BILLION US $:
i.  India’s trade deficit in May 2015 has narrowed down to 10.4 billion US dollars.
ii.  The decline in trade deficit came along with decline in exports and imports in May 2015 to 20.19% and 16.52% respectively.

4.  SHARAD PAWAR RE-ELECTED AS PRESIDENT OF MCA:
i.  Sharad Pawar is re-elected as the president of Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA).
ii.  Sharad Pawar is a veteran leader of Nationalist Congress Party.
iii.  Sharad Pawar defeated Vijay Patil by 34 votes to retain the post.

5. ELECTION COMMISSION SUSPENDED NPP:
i.  Election Commission of India has suspended Recognition of National People’s Party (NPP).
ii.  NPP is a state party in Meghalaya headed by former Lok Sabha Speaker P.A. Sangma.
iii.  The decision was taken in lieu of its failure in filing the election expenditure statement related to 2014 Lok Sabha General Elections within the prescribed limit of 90 days.
