1.  UNION CABINET GIVES CONSENT TO CONSTITUTE 21ST LAW COMMISSION OF INDIA:
i) The Union Cabinet headed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given its consent to constitute the 21st Law Commission of India.
ii)  It will have a term of 3 years with effect from 1 September 2015 to 31 August 2018.
iii) It will undertake research in law and review of existing laws in India for making reforms therein and enacting new legislations. It shall also undertake studies and research for bringing reforms in the justice delivery systems for elimination of delay in procedures, speedy disposal of cases, reduction in cost of litigation etc.
iv) The Law Commission of India is a non-statutory and non-constitutional body constituted by the Union Government.

2.  HRD MINISTRY LAUNCHED ‘NATIONAL WEB PORTAL’ FOR APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING:
i) Union Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani launched the ‘National Web Portal’for apprenticeship training.
ii) It is launched for promoting National Apprenticeship Scheme for Graduates, Diploma holders and 10+2 pass-outs vocational certificate holders.
iii) The Union Ministry also released a Logo and a Slogan ‘Sashakt Yuva, Samarth Bharat’ for the National Web Portal.

3. INS VAJRAKOSH COMMISSIONED INTO INDAIN NAVY
i) The INS Vajrakosh was commissioned by the Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar at Karwar, Karnataka into  the Indian Navy.
ii) INS Vajrakosh will be the biggest missiles, ammunition and spares dump on the Western Sea Board.

4. ‘WORLD SUICIDE PREVENTION DAY’ OBSERVED ON 10TH SEPTEMBER
i) World Suicide Prevention Day was observed on 10 September.
ii) The theme of the World Suicide Prevention Day 2015 was ‘Preventing Suicide: Reaching Out and Saving Lives’.
iii) The day is observed to provide worldwide commitment and action to prevent suicides, with various activities around the world.

5. ‘WORLD HINDI CONFERENCE’ BEGINS IN BHOPAL
i) The Tenth World Hindi Conference started in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
ii) The Theme of  world Hindi conference is ‘Jagat-Vistar and Sambhavnaye’
iii) It has been organised in India after 32 years.
iv) The First World Hindi Conference was held in Nagpur chaired by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
