1)       ADB going to provide $12 Billion to India
ü  Asian Development Bank (ADB) President Mr. Takehiko Nakao announced  $12 billion to India over the next 3 years (2020-22) in support of new flagship initiatives.
2)       Community Radio Sammelan
ü  The 7th Community Radio Sammelan 2019 was held in New Delhi.
ü  The theme of this year’s Sammelan is ‘Community Radio for SDGs’ (Sustainable Development Goals).


3)       Gorewada International Zoo
ü  The Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has announced the approval for the establishment of new International Standard Zoo and Biopark on 1914 hectares in the forest land at Gorewada in Nagpur, Maharashtra.
4)       World’s Safe Cities Index
ü As per Economist Intelligence Unit World’s Safe city index(SCI) for the year 2019, Mumbaiwas ranked 45th safest city whereas Delhi stood at the 52nd position.
ü The overall list was topped by Tokyo(Japan)
5)       RBI Annual Report 2018-19
ü  Bank frauds touched Rs 71,543.93 cr in 2018-19, a record jump of 73.8 %.
ü  The number of cases of bank frauds reported by banks in 2018-19 increased 15% on a year-on-year(Y-O-Y)basis to 6,801 cases from 5,916 cases in 2017-18.
ü  The report stated that the stressed assets recognition and resolution in earlier manner has helped the banks contain their gross non- performing loans ratio at 9.1 % in FY2018-19, slips from 11.2 % in 2017-18.
ü  The circulation of bank notes in the economy has increased 17% in FY2018-19 to Rs 21.1 trillion as against Rs 18.03 trillion in FY2017-18.
6)       Banking license of Rupee Cooperative Bank extended by RBI till Nov 30, 2019
7)       Mou signed between GeM and SIDBI to enable growth of MSMEs, Start-ups and Women Entrepreneurs
ü  A MoU was signed between Government e Marketplace (GeM) and  SIDBI in New Delhi to benefit Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), women entrepreneurs under Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency (MUDRA) and Stand-up India scheme.
ü  It will promote special initiatives of GeM like Womaniya and Start-up Runway with SIDBI stakeholders.
8)       DAY-NULM bagged SKOCH Governance Gold Award for the year 2019
ü  Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs’  flagship mission, the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) bagged 2019 SKOCH Governance Gold Award for its Portal for Affordable Credit and Interest Subvention Access (PAiSA) portal.
ü  PaiSA is a centralized Information Technology (IT) platform launched in November 2018 for quick processing of loans under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode
9)        ‘Ghaznavi’ surface-to-surface ballistic missile test fired by Pakistan
10)      IPCC special report
ü  The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) “Special Report on the Ocean and Cryosphere in a Changing Climate (SROCC)”, has warned on rising seas, storm surges and melting permafrost. It is a draft of a major United Nations (UN) report obtained by AFP (Agence France-Presse), slated for release at Monaco.
