1.      RBI CUTS REPO RATE 25 BPS:
Ø  In a step to easing loans, RBI has further lowered the Repo Rate by 25 bps to 7.5 % from 7.75 %.
Ø  This is the second time since January 2015 that RBI has made cut in Repo Rate.
Ø  Reserve Repo Rate has moved down to 6.5 Percent. Cash Reserve Ratio has remained unchanged at 4 percent.
Ø  Repo Rate: It is a Rate at which RBI lends short term to other banks.
Ø  Reverse Repo Rates: It is a rate at which other banks either lends to RBI or gain interest by Depositing money in RBI.

Ø  According to the bill, BEEF will now be banned in Maharashtra.
