1.  INDIA AND TAJIKISTAN SIGNED 2 AGREEMENTS:
i.   India and Tajikistan inked two agreements to strengthen bilateral relations.
ii.  The agreements are signed to further strengthen defence cooperation and in the field of culture.
iii.  India has agreed to set up computer labs in 31 schools in Tajikistan for supporting human resource and skill development efforts

2.  INIDA-KYRGYZSTAN INKED 4 AGREEMENTS:
i.   India and Kyrgyzstan signed 4 agreements to strengthen bilateral relations.
ii.  MoUs were signed in various fields:
(i)    Agreement on  defense cooperation
(ii)  Agreement on Cooperation in culture
(iii)Agreement on cooperation in the sphere of standards
(iv)Agreement on cooperation in the field of elections

3.  GAGAN SYSTEM LAUNCHED BY UNION CIVIL AVIATION MINISTRY:
i.    Union Minister of Civil Aviation, ‘P Ashok Gajapathi Raju’ launched the GAGAN system in New Delhi.
ii.  GAGAN- GPS Aided GEO Augmented Navigation.
iii.  GAGAN is India’s first SBAS system and with this India became the fourth Nation after the US, Europe and Japan.
iv.  SBAS- Satellite Based Augmentation System.

4.  WOMEN’S DOUBLE TITLE IN WIMBLEDON:
i.   Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis won Women’s Double title in Wimbledon.
ii.  Indo-Swiss pair defeated Russian duo of Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina in the final match
Note: This is Sania Mirza’s first ever women’s double Grand Slam title.
