4. IRDAI MAKES ‘LISTING’ A MUST FOR LARGE INSURERS
i. Insurance Regulatory Development Authority is
going to make listing mandatory for large life insurance companies.
ii. Companies which are in the Business of
Insurance from last 10 years are eligible to list on the equity market.
iii. Private sector insurance companies with
assets under management of more than Rs 60000 crore will be the first ones that
will have to list.
