1) AAP SWEEPS DELHI ELECTIONS
Ø  AamAadmi Party won 67 out of the 70 Assembly seats in Delhi.
Ø  BJP could manage only 3 seats where as Congress could not manage even a single seat.
Ø  This type of majority to a single party is seen only the second time after Sikkim, where all 32 seats were won by Sikkim Democratic Party in 2009.

2) SALE OF NON-PDS KEROSENE DEREGULATED
Ø  Union Government on Tuesday freed the sale of market priced kerosene form regulatory control.
Ø  This step is taken to check black-marketing of the fuel sold through the PDS.
Ø  Subsidized Kerosene sold through PDS is blue in color where as market priced fuel is colorless.
