1. RELIANCE JIO LAUNCHED 4G TELECOM SERVICE
i.Reliance Jiolaunched 4G telecom service in India.
ii.The service was launched to mark the birth anniversary of Dhiru Bhai Ambani, founder of the Reliance Industries Limited.
iii. It offers a unique combination of telecom, high speed data, and digital commerce, media and payment services.

2. KARAN ADANI APPOINTED AS CEO OF ADANI PORTS AND SEZ
i.Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone appointed Karan Adani as its ChiefExecutive Officer from 1 January 2016.
ii.He will replace CEO Sudipta Bhattacharya.
iii. APSEZ is India’s largest private multi-port operator.

3. AMITABH KANT GOT ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF CEO OF NITI AAYOG
i.The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet headed by Prime Minister NarendraModigivesadditional charge of Chief Executive Officer of NITI AayogtoAmitabh Kant.
ii.He will replace  NITI Aayog CEO SindhushreeKhullar whose  tenure will end on 31 December 2015.
iii.The NITI Aayog  means National Institution for Transforming India Aayog
iv.NITIAayog is a Government of India policy think-tank.
iv.It was formed on 1stJanuary 2015 by Prime Minister NarendraModi to replace the Planning Commission.

4. GLOBE SOCCER AWARDS 2015 ANNOUNCED
i.The Globe Soccer presented the Globe Soccer Awards 2015 to the winners at a ceremony held in Dubai, UAE.
ii.The awards conferred were based on the performance of the players and football clubs in 2015.
iii. List of winners of Globe Soccer Awards 2015
a.    Best Player of the Year:LionelMessi
b.   Best President of the Year:Josep Maria Bartomeu
c.    Best Club of the Year:F.C. Barcelona
d.   Best Media Attraction in Football:F.C. Barcelona

5. ‘MAKE IN INDIA WEEK’ TO BEGIN FROM FEB 13
I.Central Government will organize “Make in India Week” in Mumbai from February 13 to Februry 18, 2016.
ii. The event will be organised by the Department of Industrial Policy &Promotion and Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry to attract investorsunder Make in India.

iii.Prime Minister NarendraModi started “Make in India Week” to encourage and attract investments in the manufacturing sector in the country
