has announced a capital infusion of Rs. 6990 crore in 9 public
sectorbanks.

took the decision or selected these 9 banks on new efficiency Parameters such
as ROA and ROE.
Ø Among
the 9 selected banks, SBI is to get Rs. 2,970 crore which is maximum followed
by Bank of Baroda’s Rs. 1260 crore , PNB- 870 crore and Canara Bank- Rs. 570
crore.
