1. INDIA-RUSSIA JOINT NAVAL EXERCISE INDRA NAVY-15 STARTED IN VISAKHAPATNAM
i. India-Russia joint naval exercise-INDRA NAVY-15 has started in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
ii.INDRA NAVY-15 is a bilateral maritime joint naval exercise between the Indian and Russian navies.
iii.INDRA NAVY-15  is started for promoting the strategic relationship between the two countries.
iii.The aim of the exercise is to increase relations between the navies of two countries and develop common understanding of procedures for maritime security operations.

2. UNION GOVERNMENT RELEASES COMMEMORATIVE COINS ON DR B R AMBEDKAR
i. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released  two types of commemorative coins on Dr B R Ambedkar as part of the 125th birth anniversary year celebrations.
ii.He is also known as the architecture of Indian Constitution.
iii. The coins are of 10 rupee and 125 rupee denomination and were issued on the 60th Mahaparinirvan Divas of Babasaheb Ambedkar.

3. AUSTRALIA WON HOCKEY WORLD LEAGUE FINAL BY DEFEATING BELGIUM
i. Australia has won Men’s Hockey World League Final by defeating Belgium in the final match played at Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Stadium, Raipur.
ii. Australian team defeated Belgium by 2-1 goals.
iii.India was placed at third place in this league.

4. IMF INCLUDED YUAN IN SPECIAL DRAWING RIGHTS BASKET
i. The International Monetary Fund has taken a long-awaited decision to include the Chinese currency Yuan in the basket of its elite reserve currencies.
ii.It is used to calculate the value of the special drawing rights .
iii. The Yuan is also known as the Renminbi.
iv. SDRs means Special Drawing Rights these are supplementary foreign exchange reserve assets defined and maintained by the International Monetary fund.
5. ARMED FORCES FLAG DAY OBSERVED ACROSS INDIA ON 7TH DECEMBER
i. Armed Forces Flag Day was observed across India on 7 December 2015.
ii. The Day is celebrated all over India in order to collect the funds from people all around the country for the well-being of the staff of the Indian Armed Forces.
