1.        11th “INDRA 2019”
ü  11th “INDRA 2019” a joint tri services exercise between India and Russia is to be held at Babina (UP), Pune and Goa.  Esprit-de-corps and goodwill will be the key areas during the exercise which will facilitate further strengthening of bonds between the defence forces of India and Russia.

2.        Panel to study issues related to online pornographic content
ü  Rajya Sabha Chairman Venkaiah Naidu announced a 14-member panel coordinated by Congress leader Jairam Ramesh to study the issues related to pornographic content on the internet and social media platforms. The panel will prepare a report regarding it within 1 month.


3.        33rd Int’l Book Fair in Mexico
ü  Minister of State HRD Sanjay Dhotre inaugurated the India Pavilion at the 33rd International Book Fair 2019 in Guadalajara, MexicoIndia is the “guest of honour” for the 2019 book fair and is also the first Asia country to have received this honour. In Mexico, this book fair called “Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadalajara” in Spanish is the biggest book fair in the Spanish-speaking world.
Theme of India Pavilion at the fair: Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy “Let Our Lives Be Open Books”.

4.        Central India’s 1st  ‘Avantee mega food park’
ü  Harsimrat Kaur Badal, has inaugurated the Central India’s 1st  Avantee mega Food Park spread over 51 acres in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh (MP).

5.        RKS Bhadauria participated in PACS 2019
ü  Pacific Air Force Chiefs Conference (PACS-2019) was held at the American military base in Pearl Harbour in Hawaii, United States(US). Representing India, Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria participated in the conference.
ü   Theme: The theme of the conference for the year 2019 is ‘Collaborative approach towards Regional Security‘.

6.        National Florence Nightingale awards 2019
ü  Ram Nath Kovind, bestowed 36 awardees with the National Florence Nightingale Awards 2019 at an event in VigyanBhawan, New Delhi. The Nurses were awarded for their enthusiasm and compassion towards their work in community health centres and hospitals.
ü  The award was given to Late LiniSajeesh from Kozhikode, Kerala, who died while on duty caring for a Nipah (NiV) virus infected patient in Kerala.

7.        Priyanka Chopra tops the IMDb (Internet Movies Database) 2019 top 10 list of Indian Celebrities
ü  Priyanka Chopra, Indian actress tops the list of IMDb (Internet Movies Database) 2019 top 10 Indian Celebrities. Other Indian celebrities in the top 10 list are Disha Patani and Hrithik Roshan taking the 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
