COMPLIANT LAW SCHOOL

Institute of
Integrated Learning in Management (IILM University) in Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh)
launched the first National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020)
Complaint Law School in India.
·
The school also has a Legal Aid and Advice Centre as required by the
Constitution of India, the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 and the
multiple directives of the Supreme Court of India.

JAPAN OPEN BADMINTON 2022
·
Japanese
badminton players, Kenta Nishimoto and Akane
Yamaguchi won the men’s
singles and women’s singles
titles
·
World
no. 21, Kenta Nishimoto defeated World no. 4 Chou Tien-Chen (Taiwan) in
the men’s final.
·
Akane
Yamaguchi defeated An Se-Young (South Korea) in the women’s final.
·
In Women’s
Doubles, South Korea’s Jeong Na-Eun and Kim
Hye-Jeong beat their compatriots Baek Ha-Na and Lee Yu-Lim
to win the title.
·
In Men’s Doubles, China’s Liang
Wei Keng and Wang Chang defeated Denmark’s Kim Astrup and
Anders Skaarup Rasmussen to win the title.

INDIA & UK CONDUCTS COUNTER RANSOMWARE EXERCISE FOR 26
NATIONS
·
India’s
National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) and the United
Kingdom (UK) Government
in collaboration with BAE Systems successfully designed & conducted the
Cyber Security Exercise, a virtual ransomware drill for 26 Countries.
·
The exercise is being conducted as part of
the International Counter Ransomware Initiative (CRI)-Resilience Working
Group which is being led by India under the leadership of
NCSC.
·
The
theme of the exercise was based on the energy sector in
which the respective National Cyber Crisis Management Teams of the CRI Partner
Nations will have to deal with a ransomware attack on multiple electricity
distribution companies.
·
Cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure
have increased significantly in the recent past and India has observed a 70% increase
in ransomware activities in the 4th quarter of 2021.

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL AWARD 2023
·
West Bengal has been accredited the International Travel Award
2023 for Best Destination for Culture by
the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA), an
affiliate member of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
·
The award will be presented at the World
Tourism and Aviation Leaders’ Summit in Berlin, Germany, on March 9, 2023.
·
The Pacific Area Travel Writers
Association (PATWA) is a professional travel writers organisation established
in 1998.
·
The Durga Puja festival in Kolkata, one of West Bengal’s most significant
festivals, was added to the Representative List of the UNESCO Intangible
Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2021.
·
For the second year in a row, World Travel
Awards selected the Republic of Cuba as the Caribbean’s Leading Cultural
Destination in 2022.

as the United Kingdom’s (UK) 56th Prime
Minister (3rd female premier) at the Balmoral estate in
Scotland, UK.

was Boris
Johnson (2019-2022), formally resigned as the head of the
UK Gopvernment.
·
1st time in the Queen’s 70-year reign that
handover of power is taking place at Balmoral rather than Buckingham Palace in
London.

Liz Truss won the Conservative
Party leadership contest against Indian-origin former
Chancellor Rishi Sunak.
·
Truss was elected by the Conservative
Party of 172,000 member to be their lead.
·
Truss won 81326 votes,
compared to Sunak’s 60399 vote

SURESH RAINA ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT FROM DOMESTIC CRICKET &
IPL
·
Suresh Raina, a former Indian batsman announced
his retirement from all forms of cricket including the Indian Premier League (IPL) and prepared to play in overseas Twenty 20 (T20) leagues and the Road Safety Series
around the world.
·
He announced his international cricket
retirement on August 15, 2020, less than an hour after MS Doni had announced
his retirement.
·
Raina, the 35-year-old left-handed
batsman, from Uttar Pradesh started his career in 2000 as
a cricketer and became the 2nd youngest captain in India.
·
He was the first Indian batsman to
register centuries in all 3 formats (Test matches, ODI and (T20I)Twenty20 Internationals ) of the game

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF CLEAN AIR FOR BLUE SKIES 2022 – 7TH
SEPTEMBER

The
United Nations(UN)’s International Day of Clean Air for blue skies is
annually observed across the globe on 7th September to highlight the
importance to raise public awareness to promote and facilitate actions to
improve the quality of air.
·
The theme of
International Day of Clean Air for blue skies 2022 is “The Air We
Share”.
