- India join global AMR research hub

India
has joined as the new and 16th member of the Global Antimicrobial Resistance
(AMR) Research and Development (R & D) hub.
ü
Antimicrobial
resistance (AMR) is the ability of a microorganism (like bacteria, viruses, and
parasites) to stop an antimicrobial (such as antibiotics, antivirals and
antimalarials) from working against it.
- India to export
bulletproof jackets
ü
India
is the fourth country in the world to have its own national standard on
bulletproof jackets after the United States, United Kingdom and Germany, which
provides 360-degree protection.
ü
The
bulletproof jackets are being exported from India to more than 100
countries,including European nations.
- Military conference for
SCO member

The
first conference on military medicine for Shanghai Cooperation Organization(SCO)
member countries was organised in New Delhi .The aim of the conference was to
share the best medicinal practice.

for cancer research

Union Minister of State (MoS) Aswini Kumar Choubey announced
the plan to set up National
Genomic Grid for cancer research in line with the National
Cancer Tissue Biobank (NCTB) set up at the Indian Indian Institute of
Technology (IIT), Madras.

24th Edition of World Energy Congress (WEC) for 2019 was held at the Abu Dhabi,UAE
