BRITAIN WON 2015 DAVIS CUP TENNIS TITLE
i. Great Britain won the 2015 Davis Cup
tennis title after defeating Belgium by
3-1 in Belgium.
ii. Great Britain, won this title after
116 years since 1936.
iii. Davis Cup is the international
team event in men's tennis and considered as the world cup of tennis.
iv. The women's equivalent cup of the
Davis Cup is the Fed Cup.
2. INDIA DEFEATED
BANGLADESH TO WIN UNDER-19 TRI-SERIES CRICKET TITLE
i. India won the Under-19 one day tri
series after defeating Bangladesh at
Kolkata.
ii. Tri-Nation Under-19s Tournament in
India was participated by nations India, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

MERCEDES DRIVER NICO ROSBERG WON 2015 FORMULA 1 ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX
i. Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg won the
2015 Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix title
in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
ii. Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg, the
German driver defeated Lewis Hamilton of the UK.
iii. Earlier Nico Rosberg, has won the
sixth title in the 2015 including Spain, Monaco, Austria, Mexico and Brazil.

FURY DEFEATED WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO TO BECOME WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION
i. Britain's Tyson Fury defeated
Ukraine’s Wladimir Klitschko to become the world heavyweight champion in
Germany.
ii. Tyson Fury is a two-time former
British and English champion, a former European, Commonwealth and Irish
heavyweight champion. He is also a former WBO Inter-Continental and WBO
International heavyweight champion.
iii. He is the second longest reigning
heavyweight champion of all time.

KHANNA RE-ELECTED AS PRESIDENT OF ASIAN TENNIS FEDERATION
i. Anil Khanna was re-elected as the
President of Asian Tennis Federation.
ii. He was elected for four years in
the Annual General Meeting held in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
iii. At present, he is the President of
the All India Tennis Association.
