1.       INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS’ DAY 2025 – NOVEMBER 17

·         International Students’ Day is observed every year on November 17 to celebrate multiculturalism, diversity, and collaboration among students.

·         The first International Students’ Day was held on 17 November 1941.

·         The day commemorates the events following the 1939 Nazi invasion of Charles University in Prague during World War II.

·         The Velvet Revolution began in Prague with demonstrations marking the 50th anniversary of International Students’ Day on 17 November 1989.

 


2.       NATUROPATHY DAY 2025 – NOVEMBER 18 

·         National Naturopathy Day is observed on 18 November each year in India to promote holistic wellbeing through the naturopathy system that blends modern care with traditional natural therapies.

·         The Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa Rigpa, and Homoeopathy) in 2018 officially designated 18 November of every year as National Naturopathy Day.

·         On 18 November 1945, Mahatma Gandhi was appointed lifetime Chairman of the All India Nature Cure Foundation Trust and signed the deed to make naturopathy benefits accessible to all sections of society.

 

3.       WOMEN’S ENTREPRENEURSHIP DAY 2025 – NOVEMBER 19

·         Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED) is observed annually across the globe on 15 November, to celebrate women-led businesses and highlight the need for more financial support, leadership roles, and opportunities for women entrepreneurs around the world.

·         WED was initiated by Wendy Diamond, a social entrepreneur and the Founder & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization (WEDO), a non-governmental volunteer organization.

·         The first-ever WED was observed on 19 November 2014 at the UN headquarters in New York, the United States of America (USA).

 

4.       WORLD TOILET DAY 2025 – NOVEMBER 19

·         The United Nations (UN’s) World Toilet Day(WTD) is annually observed across the world on 19 November to raise awareness about sanitation, public health, and dignity, and to promote access to safe toilets for all.

·         2025 Theme: “Sanitation in a changing world”

·         World Toilet Organisation (WTO) was founded by Jack Sim, a philanthropist from Singapore, on November 19, 2001.

·         The first UN-recognized World Toilet Day was observed on November 19, 2013.

·         On November 19 2025, Sulabh International and the WTO launched a 3-day World Toilet Summit 2025 in New Delhi,

·         The MoHUA launched ‘Toilet Paas Hai’ and ‘Main Saaf Hi AchhaHoon’, a year-long campaign to promote responsible toilet use and hygiene habits across communities.

 

5.       INTERNATIONAL MEN’S DAY 2025 – NOVEMBER 19

·         The International Men’s Day (IMD) is annually observed across the globe on 19 November to honor and celebrate the vital role of men in society, family, and communities.

·         2025 Theme: “Celebrating Men and Boys”.

·         The IMD was originally launched by Thomas Oaster on 7 February 1992 in the Republic of Malta, after being conceived on 8 February 1991.

·         The project was later revived in 1999 by Dr. Jerome Teelucksingh, a history lecturer at the University of the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago(T&T), chose November 19 to honor his father’s birthday.

·         The first IMD was formally observed on 19 November 1999, with the citizens of T&T being the first to celebrate it.

·         In India, the inaugural celebration of IMD was organized by Save Indian Family (men’s rights organization) on 19 November 2007.

 

6.       NATIONAL INTEGRATION DAY 2025 – NOVEMBER 19

·         National Integration Day (QuamiEktaDiwas) is observed every year across India on November 19 to mark the birth anniversary of Indira Gandhi, India’s first woman Prime Minister(PM).

·         The day marks the beginning of National Integration Week (QaumiEkta Week), celebrated every year from November 19 to 25.

·         National Integration Day was instituted in 1985 to honour Indira Gandhi’s role in promoting unity among India’s diverse cultures and regions.

·         Indira Gandhi, daughter of India’s firstPM Jawaharlal Nehru, was born on November 19, 1917, in Allahabad (now Prayagraj), Uttar Pradesh

·         She served as India’s 3rd PM from 1966 to 1977 and again from 1980 until her assassination in 1984.

·         She was India’s second-longest-servingPM after Nehru and was popularly known as the ‘Iron Lady of India’.

·         Indira Gandhi received the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award in 1971 and the Lenin Peace Prize in 1984.

·         She authored the book ‘My Truth’, revealing unexplored aspects of her life.

 

7.       NATIONAL INTEGRATION WEEK 2025 - NOVEMBER 19 TO 25.

·         It is a week-long celebration that aims to strengthen the spirit of national unity, communal harmony, and pride in India’s diverse cultural heritage.

·         November 19 – National Integration Day.

·         November 20 – Welfare of Minorities Day.

·         November 21 – Linguistic Harmony Day.

·         November 22 – Weaker Sections Day.

·         November 23 – Cultural Unity Day.

·         November 24 – Women’s Day.

·         November 25 – Conservation Day.

 

8.       WORLD HERITAGE WEEK 2025 – NOVEMBER 19-25

·         World Heritage Week (WHW) is observed annually in India from November 19 to 25 to promote and conserve the country’s monuments, cultural sites, and heritage.

·         The day recognises and celebrates United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) designated heritage sites for their historical and cultural significance.

·         UNESCO’s World Heritage Day(WHD), also known as the International Day for Monuments and Sites, is observed globally every year on April 18.

·         As of November 2025, India has a total no of 44 UNESCO World Heritage Sites(WHS) in which, 35 are cultural, 7 are natural, and 2 are mixed sites.

·         The Maratha Military Landscapes of India have been recognized as India’s 44th UNESCO WHS.

·         The Ajanta Caves and Ellora Caves in Maharashtra, along with Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal in Uttar Pradesh(UP) were the first sites in India to be inscribed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1983.

·         As of October 2025, approximately 3698 monuments are protected by the ASI.

·         UP has the largest number of monuments.
