1.      KRISHI KARMAN AWARD-2015:
Ø  Prime Minister  Narendra Modi Presented Krishi Karman Awards in a function Suratgarh in Sri Ganganagar District, Rajasthan.
Ø  PM as a chief guest launched a nationwide scheme, “soil health card” under which 14crore soil health cards will be issued over next 3 years.
Ø  States to get the awards were Punjab, Odisha, Meghalaya, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Gujrat.

2.      OIL MINISTRY’S SECRET PAPER’S LEAKED:
Ø  Controversy erupted  recently when Oil Ministry’s secret papers leaked yesterday.
Ø  5 Suspects were arrested by the Crime Branch of Delhi police for allegedly “stealing” confidential documents from the Ministry of petroleum and Natural Gas and selling them to private companies.
Ø  Notices to join the Investigation were sent to the officers of  RIl and ESSAR .

3.      GOVERNMENT GENERATES 80000CRORE RUPEES FROM COAL AUCTION:
Ø In a massive turnover of events recently, Union Government of India generated over, 80,000 crore rupees from Coal Auction.
Ø With only 21 coal blocks, the Govt. has generated a revenue of 80,000 crore rupees.
Ø There is a total of 204 coal blocks to be auctioned in various phases.

4.      NUCLEAR CAPABLE PRITHVI-II SUCCESSFULLY TEST-FIRED:
Ø  India successfully test-fired its Nuclear Capable missile.
Ø  Prithvi-II is Surface to Surface Missile with a strike range of 350 km.
Ø  Prithvi-II is Capable to carry 500kg. – 1000kg of Warheads.
Ø  The Missile was test fired from ITR, Chandipur, off ODISHA coast.
