1. INDIA AND TURKMENISTAN SINGED 8 AGREEMENTS:
i. India and Turkmenistan inked 8 agreements to increase regional cooperation and connectivity.
ii. The agreement were signed while Prime Minister, Narendra Modi paid and official visit to Turkmenistan.

2. WORLD POPULATION DAY OBSEERVED GLOBALLY;
i. World Population Day is observed globally on 11th July, 2015.
ii. World Population day 2015 was observed with the theme, ‘Vulnerable populations in Emergencies’
iii. The them focuses on the record number of people displaced by crisis.
3. SHANGHAI CO-OPERATION ORGANISATION (SCO):
i. India and Pakistan will become a part of Shanghai Co-operation Organization by 2016.
ii. India has the observer status of the group for past 10 years.
iii. SCO is a 6 member group till now which includes:
(i) China (ii) Kyrgyzstan (iii) Russia
(iv) Uzbekistan (v) Kazakhstan (vi) Tajikistan
